Character
Active, cheerful, playful, noble, gentle, and submissive. One of the most affectionate dogs at the shelter—she wraps her front legs around you for hugs and would stay like that forever. She’s also a bit of a glutton… she’s clearly known real hunger. Very good with adults and children. Sociable with other dogs.
History
We already hinted at it above… sadly, it’s nothing new. Kane is another discarded hunting dog, thrown away when she no longer served her purpose. Barely over a year old, she arrived in a heartbreaking state—her frail, skeletal body covered in wounds from sleeping on the cold concrete floors of the grim kennels used for hunting packs.
Just seeing her was enough to understand how miserable and painful her short life had been. It took her a few months to recover, but look at her now—she’s radiant.
With Kane, happiness and joy are guaranteed. She has a heart of gold and will leave no one untouched who opens their arms—and home—to her.
