Character

Shy, though she has improved a lot. She’s growing more comfortable with cuddles and hugs from our volunteers every day. Cheerful, lively, spunky, funny, and very sweet. Much more confident now around adults and children. Sociable with other dogs—she has shared both yards and kennels with several companions.

History

A call from the police warned us: a tiny dog had been found wedged between a wall and a motorcycle in a rough neighborhood. She was so terrified that it was impossible to get her out without risking a bite. Despite her small size, fear made her lash out.

We don’t know anything about her past, but we can safely assume it wasn’t a kind one. Bambú has been with us for several months now and has come a long way—but we know she would improve even more in the warmth of a real home.

She’s a lovable, tiny little dog—so endearing. We hope she finds her forever family very soon. 🤞🙏
