Shy but kind, calm, and quiet. A life of isolation has shaped him, but he’s slowly becoming more confident around the volunteers at the shelter. All he needs is time, dedication, and love—things he’s never truly known. Good with adults and children. He still needs to be tested with other dogs.

History

Pancho is the typical dog bought to guard a property—and that’s exactly why he was acquired. But when the owners had to sell due to family issues, Pancho suddenly found himself with nothing left to protect… and no home. They couldn’t take him with them, so they contacted us for help.

We decided to give this gentle giant a chance.

Soon, Pancho will discover that his solitary life is a thing of the past. He’ll learn that he can be part of a family—not just a guard, but a loved one.
