Active and playful—he loves his toys and guards them dearly. He’s slowly learning to trust people again, showing more affection and tenderness every day. Sociable with other dogs.

History:

Coco’s story is one of heartbreak. After a traumatic separation and a surgery, his family gave him up. The experience deeply affected his stability and personality. Lost and confused, he struggled in the shelter environment. With no foster homes available, Coco was placed in a boarding and training center, where he’s finally starting to relax and make progress.

He now needs a loving family who can continue the great work that’s helping him heal. Stability is key for Coco to keep moving forward.
